We began now over 30 years ago with a buff male pet for our 3 children. When we decided to purchase another "pet", we bought one from a Show Breeder who introduced us to the world of Matches and Shows. From there we learned all we could, and have never stopped. Read More -About us

Another BIS for Riley on St. Patrick's Day in Ireland
Judge Mr. Howard M Tonks
On the second day of Crufts where there were over 5,000 Gundogs competing, we're excited to report that Riley (owner/handled by Monica Boardman from Ireland) won the Gundog Group under Judge Mrs. Patsy Hollings. We believe that Riley is only the fourth American Cocker to win this honor at Crufts.
At the Breed level with an entry of 128 American Cocker Spaniels, Judge Mr. W.E. Bunce, wrote the following critique:
"If I were to try and describe my epitome of this breed, I could not give a better example than this 22 month old parti-colour dog. Quite apart from his outstanding condition and presentation, his overall construction is superb. Ideal shape of skull with a melting yet alert and biddable expression. Ideal clean dentition. Correct length of clean neck leading into a substantial, well sprung ribcage. Strong, straight, short back with good muscle over the loin. His balance between front and rear assemblies, enables a smooth, efficient movement, driving easily from well placed hocks and tight feet. He covers the maximum ground with the minimum effort. As if all that were not enough, he enjoys the whole affair!"
Our red/white girl Carley, San Jo's Show Biz walked away with Best In Futurity at ASC!
Riley, Am/Irish CH. San Jo's Born To Party lives in Ireland and Lindsey, Am/Can CH. San Jo's A Star Is Born lives in Canada and it is such a thrill to enjoy these kids with their owners. Both were sired by Patrick, Multi BIS/BISS CH. San Jo's Born To Win. |
